Post Palliative Care Legislation Passes in NYS

Is there a tool/checklist which can be used to cover the criteria relative to the Palliative Care Legislation recently passed in NYS requiring health care practitioners to provide information and end of life options to a patient diagnosed with a terminal illness or condition?

At this point there has been no specific guidance issued by NY to define the criteria by which to develop a checklist; we believe that such work will be forthcoming in the next few months. We are watching this closely and will be happy to assist once criteria are published.
