We actively in-service all units and disciplines in our institution regarding the role of palliative care. We conduct at least 2 ELNEC courses annually to help increase awareness; these also all in increase our consults. Finally we offer all staff the ability to shadow us for a day or a few hours to gain greater insight as to what we palliative care do. Are there any costs associated with conducting the 2 ELNEC courses annually? Also are the 2 ELNEC courses provided to internal employees only or do you allow other health care providers in the community to attend? Thanks
