Post Pain reduction and shorter hospital stays

Does anyone have research more recent than Bliss, McSherry and Fassett, NIH 1995 re: 2 day shorter post op hospitalizaton w/$4200 cost reduction AND Iler, Obenshein, Carmac, 2001 37% shorter hosp stays for those who received chaplain visits? Anything newer? Thank you!
