Hah! I suspect that you could easily put any two supervisors from any one or two cognate groups into a room and find 'philosophical differences'!
Out of my east-coast ignorance, I am surprised to find that HCMA is a member of COMISS but that does imply that they adhere to the professional standards set out by he 2004 Council of Collaboration, does it not? If so, then they principles are ostensibly similar in policy if not in practice. Specific to Randy Miota's observations of proselytism, that would be at odds with the clearly stated professional standard of:
PAS3: Provide pastoral care that respects diversity and differences including, but
not limited to culture, gender, sexual orientation and spiritual/religious
practices.
Are you seeing other 'philosophical' differences that might go against any of these other professional standards, Grapik? Or is this something more along the lines of your supervisory styles?
