Post NP Billing for home palliative care

I am an NP employed by a not for profit hospice. We are starting a new palliative care program, can my home visit for palliative care be billed through Medicare, Medicaid and third party insurances?
Can my visits also be billed for LTC and ALFs?

Absolutely, but you will need a Medicare Part B number if you don't have one yet. You will also need to make sure insurance contracts include palliative care outside the realms of hospice. What state are you located in?

I am located in the state of Alabama.

Palliative Care services are billed with E/M codes and the NP specialty is that she is an NP. Why would they need to make sure Palliative Care services are reimbursed covered under the carriers' policies? While Palliative Care is a specialty, the services they rendered are not exclusive of only Palliative Care providers.
