Does your organization bill for palliative care visits by registered nurses, social workers or chaplains? If so do you charge a flat rate per visit, or do you have a sliding fee scale? We would appreciate any information on how organizations charge for discipline visits other than physicians and nurse practitioners.

Hello Debra,
If you are providing out-pt services the only other service we bill for is an LCSW or a Clinical Psychologist.
With our in-pt PC consult service we bill for the physician and nurse practitioner only.
