We are a small hospice and home health provider in New Jersey who are forming a Palliative Care program. Does anyone have suggestions for software to bill Medicare part B. Also, we are curious to find out how other Part A providers have educated themselves on part B billing. Have you trained current staff to learn the E/M coding or did you hire someone with part B experience?

Billing Medicare Part B can be a little tricky. Some of the software (Suncoast) has a Part B application, but it is expensive. You also have to credential your program and your providers.

Please give me a call and I can give you some pointers. I am billing for 12 palliative care programs now and have consulted with a few others.
