Post PC visit made prior to hospice election

If a PC visit was made to a patient and the patient decided to elect hospice later in the day (PC and hospice are same organization, visit and dx are related to hospice election)can I still bill for the NPs PC visit?

Seems like there was a modifier that physicians or providers could use for this scenario--when they saw a patient or an ambulance was called to the home prior to election later in the day but I'm drawing a blank...

I don't know of any modifier that tells Medicare that the visit was prior to the patient invoking their hospice benefits, even though it was the same day. Are you saying that the PC provider is employed by the Hospice Agency? My apologies, the statement confuses me a little. Please clarify and I may be able to give you a better response.
