Post Physician Specialty Designation
Author: yaegerj

I have searched the archives but can't find the answer so i apologize if this is a duplication.
What are the requirements for a physician to be designated with a primary specialty of hospice and palliative medicine? I am being told by our organization that a person has to be board certified to designated themselves this way but I was under the impression this was not the case. Any updates on the procedure to get physicians designated as this has fallen through the cracks for some of our palliative physicians (even the board certified ones)
