Post New program financial question
Author: Laurie_M

We have just started an inpt program at the hospital affiliated with our hospice and want to continue to follow the patients after discharge in their homes or ECF. Because we do not have a NP at this point, our hospice nurses are seeing the patients. We were just told we are not able to do this as no cost to the patient. Is anyone providing visits (any discipline-RN, SW, etc.)without charging the patients or their insurance? If so, how??
