Post Inpatient Admissions on Palliative Care Patients

We have MEDICARE parts A and B patietns admitted to inpatient setting and they expired within 2 days of admissions.
Questions:
1]Can we bill MeDICARE as two acute days?
2]On same patient scenario as above , in the event that these two patients are open to Hospice program, this , I meant that patients already were enrolled in Hospice prior to admission, can we bill MEDICARE as two acute days ?

I am not sure what you are asking, can you clarify? Julie Pipke and I agree that if the patient was seen and examined the provider should bill part B for both days regardless of the fact that the patient expired on the second day. We are not sure what you mean by the second question.
