I'm thrown off a little by the way this question is worded. Part B ICD-9 reimbursement amounts; Medicare Part B has a fee schedule established for each reimbursable CPT code and they also have individual policies for many services that may only allow payment for those services when specific ICD-9 codes are used. Our carrier, WPS, has a fee schedule that we can very easily access on their web site. I apologize if this is not what the question is asking.

Sorry Julie for the confusion, I'm on a crash course in Part B billing techniques. Therefore, I may not know exactly what to ask and how to ask it. Yes I have found WPS to be very helpful.

My wife and I (Linda, a trained Hospice Executive Director out of Milwaukee and myself, a trained CEO are forming a community based Palliative Care service provider)admit that our weakest link in our plan is the billing piece. But I'm learning tons and need to know more.

Just as a side note, I have been looking for the right person to join our Advisory board so that we can shorten this distance on the learning curve with billing. I am really impressed with the response from the forum group! My experience has taught me to surround yourself with people who are smarter than you are in ones area of weaknesses!

Any suggestions as to an Advisor for the next couple of months just so we can get our feet firmly planted in Part B would be greatly appreciated.
