If an APN is an employee of the hospital and performing Palliative Care consults for in-patients can they bill for their services?

I acually need to be more specific here. I am a APN working for a hospital in the Palliative Care Consult service, I am an employee of the hospital. I work with three physicians who are contracted to work in the Palliative Care Consult Service but are not employees of the hospital. If I do a portion of the initial and/or follow up consults, and the Physicians do a portion can the physicians bill for the consult?
