Post Medical Director Contract Samples

I am a new Executive Director of Palliative Care and have been asked to review the various contract agreements for that service.

It seems to me that our facility's standardized Medical Director contract agreement is not appropriate for the level of clinical encounters by the physician in that role. In other words, they actually see patients instead of having a general oversight of the program.

I was wondering if others would be willing to share a copy of the agreements their facilty is using (with names and amounts removed).

We do not have a standard contract, so I cannot help.
In general, we don't get paid by the hospital for much. We have gotten salary support to "bankroll" a doc until her billings support most of her salary.
But as Director of Palliative Care, I don't get anything from the health system.
Hold out for the administrative time you need -- if 4 hours a week, get them to pay for that.
