Lisa Morgan

Lisa Morgan is Director of Communications for the Center to Advance Palliative Care, a leading national healthcare organization located at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. As the chief creative executive for communications, she drives all strategy, planning, and implementation of media and marketing programs designed to increase the number of palliative care programs throughout the nation’s hospitals.

During her 19-year tenure in the practice of public relations, Lisa has served big-brand clients such as Nabisco, Tropicana, Carlisle Plastics, Rollerblade Inc., Prince Tennis, Dow U.S.A. and the American Plastics Council. Her breadth of strategic communications expertise includes the creation and management of campaigns for a broad range of marketing categories including consumer lifestyle, issues management, advocacy, non-profit, personal wellness, food & beverage and healthcare.

Lisa’s national corporate and advocacy campaigns have regularly reached millions of consumers through high-profile broadcast, print, and trade media including Oprah, Today, Good Morning America, Live with Regis and Kathie Lee, CNN, Parade, Teen People, Sports Illustrated for Women, InStyle, People, Redbook, Woman’s Day, Men’s Health, Barron’s, National Geographic, Time, U.S. News & World Report, National Geographic, Men’s Health, The New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, Newsweek and more.

Prior to joining CAPC, Lisa co-founded Landseer Associates, a boutique public relations firm handling strategic public relations and marketing for consumer product and service clients and cause-related campaigns. She served as the agency’s chief creative officer, managed executive communications, developed and maintained broad press relationships, and oversaw the work of staff and vendors. Her clients included Dow USA, Rollerblade, Inc., Prince Tennis, Crimes of War Project, Carlisle Plastics and Killer Loop. Among her many notable successes were Rollerblade’s Blade Jam, the world’s largest inline skating festival; Rollerblade’s Skate in School program; the launches of many Prince racquets including the company’s #1 Triple Threat racquet; and Use Less Stuff Day (ULS), a national public awareness campaign co-sponsored by Keep America Beautiful and the USDA.

Lisa has also consulted to companies and organizations on projects ranging from healthcare to Indian country.

Lisa Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and pursued graduate studies in Art History at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
